finally someone who actually listened to the episode. all the videos ive watched so far claimed Rennod was dead. this is the first video where the person actually listened and used their brain because it was said he was stabbed by his concubine, not that he died. +there was a mention after that, that he had last laugh by locking the navigation so the ship would crash - hardly something one would do when dead. +in first episode wim finds Rennods hat on the bed, not on the skeleton that was stabbed-pinned to the wall -> which was likely placed there intentionally to fool the surface level watchers and make them think that was rennod because he was stabbed.
No her lying about killing the captain and throwing his body into space is not what convinced SM-33 that she was the Captain. No it was the Code of the Pirates. She claimed the captaincy and no one challenged it. (At least not in front of 33) Thus she was the captain until someone challenged it. Further if you recall at first he was calling out captain - I think he wasn’t looking for THE Captain but since All ships need a captain he was trying to ascertain who the new captain was. When Fern claimed to be the captain and no one challenged it - according to the “pirates code” she was the captain. The fact that she lied is irrelevant- it’s not like pirates value honesty anyway. Indeed they may respect acquiring something by deceit as much as any other way.
why did the light saber bounce when Wim lit it? is the ground made from beskar or something? also why did the light saber make a different sound when Wim opened it, than when Silvo did? Rennod was pinned to the wall... his Concubine was VERY strong if she drove that knife through him and that far into the wall
I guess it bounced off because of star wars physics, to make the lightsaber cut deep you maybe need to push it. I don't think the dead pirate is Rennod, maybe he stabbed a pirate and pinned him to the wall.
In the movies the lightsabers don't seem to cut like a knife through butter but require some effort to cut and since Wim let go of it quickly it just bounced off.
If this was a "real world story", the kids would have compromised At Attin's security and the Supervisor would have probably have done a Hannibal Directive on them (i.e. kill them all), so there would be no bargaining at all.
Rennod was the same species as Neel, as was the original architect of the Jewel Worlds. Rennod knew of this which is was why he believed At Attin to be real rather than a myth. His pregnant concubine survived the crash and lived on At Attin. Neel is their descendant - the perfect pacifist descended from a bloodthirsty pirate.
The reason Captain Tennod ordered SM-33 to erase the coordinates to At-Attin is that he wanted to protect it. That'll be the daft twist we'll get in the final episode
I think Renard is the superviser. Makes total sense that he would hide behind robots to conceal he was a pirate. I think the kids will take the republic police(that the owl knew) to At Atin. I think Jude law character will take the Onyx Cinder to find out he can't find the treasure without the kids help.
‘Who was At Attin minting money for? will be left as a hanging thread at the shows’ end. The New Republic will arrive there, directed by the owl lady, and inform the inhabitants it wasn’t for the Republic as they believed. And that’s where the show will leave it, with the true answer heavily implied but not stated.
Do you think Darth Vader might have spared some younglings during Order 66? Maybe he made them disavow the Jedi Order. Could Jude Law's character in The Skeleton Crew be one of those younglings? SM33 is the mysterious pirate captain
I honestly thought the captain was the one Jod pulled the dagger out of. Like, no one got the treasure because they all died. Also, I’m conflicted about SM-33 being captain which people keep saying. Why would a bunch of pirates follow a droid? Why would the hologram not show his glowing eye(s)? How could a droid instruct itself to forget something? Why would he be looking for the captain when he first wakes up? Why would he let a bunch of kids take charge? None of it adds up. He’s not the captain. HOWEVER, I swear the captains lair skull looks too similar to SM-33’s face, which I find intriguing. If the supervisor is a human, I doubt it would be the captain. How would a simple pirate manage to take over an existing, and highly secure, operation? Like they wouldn’t know the supervisor is a different person who would lack the knowledge of operating the place?
Is the captain still alive? If he’s human, no. Sm33 didn’t know the skull mtn was turned into a resort. He died a long time ago by natural causes if something else didn’t get him first. My guess, of course.
I'm happy, I said that there were, Jedi and sith artifacts. And I was right, with the high republic light saber.Has anyone considered, that Jod was being controlled, by dark side energy. They , are in an acrient sith temple.Abd I can't wait, to go to the old republic mint.We are going, to get even more lore their.
It wasn't the 2nd mate. It was his concubine that stabbed him in the heart w his own dagger. Thats the dagger jod pulled out of skeleton. But U do U. Sm33 could be lying about that part but that seems pretty obvious
Timing is wrong - this is post empire, Plaeugis was killed by Sidious sometime before even the clone wars. However this could be post Vader but pre Kilo, so could be a Palpitain/Snoke apprentice that was in between Vader and Kilo.
This is about 5 years after Endor. Plagueis died at some point before 19 bby if we are going strictly off what we heard on screen. In Legends, he died off-screen during the ‘Phantom Menace’ in 32 bby.
If its just a magnetic glove then it would also pull other metallic objects of an appropriate size to it. You would have to be really careful using that trick or end up looking foolish.
Not showing the face of the Pirate Captain is just hiding the actual identity. I believe Zod was the Pirate Captain that's why show runners are hiding the face. My theory is Zod is not a Jedi or Sith, Zod is the Pirate King. Who used force (got help from a friend) to erase his memories. That's why Zod has many names.

Thee "rat" in SM33's eye is the captain.
Could be True! But how did he turn into this ?!?!
Sm33 is the Capitan?
@@darrylstarkins9031 i Hope not...
It's scabbers fr
I thought Tak was the pirate skeleton that had the knife thru him against the wall, when jod found that knife in the ship
I believe you are right
I find it moderately amusing today in this day and age a 12 minute video is considered a "deep dive"
SM33 is the MVP of the show.

All metal has some slight resistance to light sabers. Remember the tradeship doors in episode 1? It melted through it, but it took time and effort.

I think ferns mother is actually the supervisor

so either Fern's mom is / was the mistress, or Wim's dad was the pirate lord that decided to "settle down" xD
I think Jod wanted the ship, and wasn’t interested in hurting the children.

What if Dart Plaeugis is still alive in Skeleton crew

the bug in the droids eye do we know what it is 😉😉
its a mgnetic glove silly ... not Force related ..

Pure Disney.. none of the children have a set of parents except the kid with two moms. Woke garbage, boring show.
